Every stage of the construction of your home is meticulously planned.
Once we begin to build your home, an army of craftsmen, engineers and technical specialists come together to oversee the many different aspects of the construction. There are eight phases to building your home, which are as follows:
1. Preparing the groundwork
Having carried out essential land studies on your plot, we know exactly where and how deeply we need to dig. With this information, we prepare the groundwork for the foundations.
2. Laying the foundations
Having undertaken studies for reinforced, earthquake-resistant concrete, we know exactly where to position the steel framework for your house so that it will be resistant against any earthquake.
The concrete foundations are laid in preparation for the builders to begin constructing the walls.
3. Putting the walls in place
The house begins to rise, as the walls are built and the form of the house, with internal rooms, begins to take shape.
4. Adding the roof
Once all the masonry has been taken care of, the roof is added; a combination of carpentry and roof tiling.
5. Closing the house
After the roof has been added, the windows and doors are then put in place, closing the house from the elements.
6. Plumbing, electrics and plastering
The internal finishing now begins in earnest, with the walls boarded and plastered, and the internal infrastructure of plumbing and electrics put in place.
7. Rendering the exterior
The masonry on the exterior is coated with a protective and aesthetic finish.
8. Finishing your home
The house is now ready to take on its true character, with different suppliers adding the aesthetic details, such as the kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom furniture, flooring, chimney, tiling, audio-visual systems etc. For more detail see how we finish your home.
